Santa Cecilia as Artemis of a bronze by Donatello, relief disappeared. The prototype of this sculpture was the statue of Artemis, in the Louvre Museum. The emblem of Artemis was the crescent moon, and the form, flexed to form a base around its interior arch, forms a diadem. The 'touched' in its entirety, is based on the open palm of the human right hand. The slight superposition of the little finger gives rise to the inclination sculpting in the diadem.
