Carmen Calvo (Valencia, 1950) is a Spanish painter and sculptor. She studied in the School of Arts and Crafts and, subsequently, the Fine Arts School in Valencia.
She specializes in the use of mixed techniques and collage, combining materials like rubber with elements of photography.
He has made solo exhibitions in centers such as the Benlliure Gallery in Valencia, the Antonio Pérez Foundation in Cuenca and Vuela Pluma Ediciones in Madrid.
Her many awards include the Alfons Roig Prize from Valencia Provincial Council; and the Prize of the Spanish Association of Art Critics (AECA) for the author of the best work or portfolio presented by a living Spanish artist.
