José Díaz Azorín (Alicante, 1939) is a Spanish painter, draftsman, engraver, and sculptor. He studied at the Superior School of San Carlos de Valencia where he graduated. He also stands out because of his teaching work as a professor at the University of Alicante.
His work focuses mainly on the realization of plant and human forms and their volumetric treatment.
He has had exhibits in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, USA, Mexico, as well as some individual exhibitions in Spanish territory. He is also known for making 9 public sculptures, including some like the University of Alicante.
