Cayetano Aníbal (Sevilla, 1929) is a Spanish sculptor, painter, and engraver. He studied at the Superior School of Fine Arts of Santa Isabel in Hungary, the specialty of sculpture and later began in the intaglio engraving at the Workshop of the Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation.
He exhibits his work in individual and collective exhibitions in many Spanish cities and in Italy, France, Germany, England and the United States.
He has works in different museums and galleries both Spanish and foreign such as the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, the National Chalcography, Republican Art Gallery of Minsk, Modern Art Gallery of Santo Domingo, Museum of The Hermitage of St. Petersburg between others
Regarding distinctions and recognitions to his work, he was awarded the Medal of "Le Cercle d'Arts Plastiques" of Paris, the Medal of the Biennale of Ancona and in a personal capacity was named an academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Granada, and an academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary in Seville.
He passed away in November 2015.
