Roberto González Fernández (Monforte de Lemos, 1948) is a Spanish painter. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid to later move to Edinburgh (Scotland).
Homosexuality and homoeroticism are the keys to his work, always with a tone of protest and irony. Although he is mainly recognized as a painter, he has also worked in photography and digital formats.
He has made numerous solo exhibitions of which have been made in the United Kingdom and Scotland where he exhibits annually and also by various cities in Spain. His work is part of Galician collections such as the Museum of Fine Arts of La Coruña, Scottish as Kelvingrove Museum of Glasgow and other art centers around the world as Forbes Collection of New York.
